I ran into Belle (9) when we were both limping, so I felt an immediate sense of kinship.

Somehow I find it sadder to see a dog with a leg cast or wrap than a human. Partly because they don’t know it’ll be gone soon, I guess.
She’s still got the puppydog eyes down pat.
