Dog of the Day: Walter the Fluffy Pembroke Welsh Corgi

It’s corgi week! And you know what that means! (And if you don’t know what that means, I dunno, maybe get someone to explain it to you? I feel like it’s pretty straightforward, really.) To open on a strong note, I am leading off with one of the only three things that could make an AKC-certified corgi even more awesome: Walter is a fluffy Pembroke Welsh corgi, a corgi that has a pooflier-than-usual coat. They are softer, more huggable, shed even more than a regular corgi (how is that even possible??) and look even more utterly ridiculous (ditto!).

Incidentally, amazingly, this is not the first Walter the corgi we have seen on this blog. In fact, I use one of the pictures of the other Walter as a ‘gravitar’ in various places.

Someone likes being scratched under the chin very much. And more or less everywhere else, too.

Look at that ear fur. Luxuriant!

There, see? He does have a body. Just no legs.
