Dog of the Day: Esme the Cirneco dell’Etna

I saw Esme (1) and thought ‘oh wow it’s a Pharaoh hound!’ But it turns out no, she’s an entirely new breed for me. Remarkable how much they look like Pharaoh hounds.

    It’s the only Sicilian dog breed i know of. Oddly, I’ve never seen one.
