Dog of the Day: Gertie the St. Bernard

Gertie, 2, is just as gentle a giant as you might imagine. Good thing, too, since if she leapt up on you, you’d know it!

She might look a little sandy. She apparently was out at the Carmel beach earlier, but she wasn’t wet… just very, very drooly.
