Site News: Calendration! (Almost.)

So, I ordered a bunch of calendars a couple weeks ago, and just got them in a couple of days ago. And I took them out, and lo and behold, the covers were printed poorly. Basically, little bits of dust got into the printing process and then fell off, so there are pieces of dust-shaped white speckled all over the calendar covers.

Needless to say, I’m not happy. And the printing company is printing up another batch for me, which will arrive soon, at which time I will add the calendars to my store.

In the mean time, though… I have a number of calendars with problematic covers, but with the rest of the contents seemingly just fine. I don’t feel comfortable selling them, and you wouldn’t want to give one as a gift or anything. So here’s what I’m going to do: for the next ten orders I get, I’m going to throw in a free slightly-imperfect Dogs of San Francisco calendar, if you want one. (I will verify that you want one before I ship, or you can drop me a line letting me know.) And, after all, the front of the calendar isn’t even visible when it’s hanging from the wall, like a… calendar.

This is the cover image from the calendar. Still one of my favorites.

How exciting! I’d like to buy a calendar with a funky cover at the regular price if you autograph it somewhere for me. How does that sound??

Hah… tell you what, how about this: I’ll sell you one of the new calendars, and throw in one of the ones with the damaged cover for free. And I’ll be happy to sign either or both, as you prefer.

I could do that, but really, I’d be fine with one calendar that was 98% perfect : )
