Dog of the Day: Joey the Papillon Chihuahua Mix

Little Joey (6) is a country dog in a big city, but he’s figuring things out.

Look at the foozly ears! Almost as long as the hair that grows out of my ears if I don’t trim it.

I got kisses, so I think he’s adapting just fine.

    Hello. I came across a pic of Joey dog (chihuahua/ papillon mix) from San Francisco, but it was from 2020. I would like to send Joey’s owner a photo of my dog. They are twins. Can you help with this or send them my email address?

      Wish I knew, but Joey’s folks never found the post on here, so I don’t think I ever got any info from them. If they do find this, though, I’m sure they’ll respond to your comment, and you should be notified.

      I’m afraid I really don’t have a lot of insight into this. You might try a local upscale pet shop, some of them sell some of the boutique locally-made pet foods that pickier pups seem to like.
