So, things have been a little quieter than usual here for the past few weeks. It’s because I’ve been really busy doing… well… a whole lot of things. One of which was utterly crazy even for me: I just went and bought an RV.
It wasn’t entirely spur-of-the-moment; I’ve been thinking about it for ages, for some specific reasons which I’m not going to get into on here. And I’m planning on spending about three months in the midwest, so it made sense to do it now. It’s just that everything ended up being very rushed and crazy and, er, expensive. And crazy. And did I mention expensive?
I’ll share some photos of her on a Sunday Switchup, hopefully this coming Sunday (if she isn’t at the repair shop over the weekend!) I call her the Lummox, after a surprisingly similar — except much less comfortable — vehicle that I designed for a role-playing game I played some time ago. Crazy how life imitates art sometimes.
It was nice meeting you in your special rv at yanksresort
What a challenging choice you’ve made.
It was great meeting you too! And yes… challenging is a good word. But that’s all right: I was starting to get complacent. I needed a new challenge.
