Last year, for a while, when I walked to work down Pacific Avenue, I walked past a law office. And in the window of that law office, often anyway, there was a kitty! Autumn and I took to calling her ‘Lawkitty’, as in ‘Lawkitty will be happy to represent you, for the low price of three mackerel!’ and ‘Lawkitty is sorry you lost your case, but will console you with cuddles.’ That’s when these pictures were taken.
A couple months after the first time we saw her, we noticed someone carrying stuff out of the office. It was Andrew S. Cantor, the attorney in question, moving out of the office. It turns out that it was rented to him as a ‘live/work space’ but is classified as commercial. Really dumb thing to do to a lawyer.
Anyway, it turns out this kitty’s name is really Eppi. She’s a real sweetheart. And Andrew is a neat guy, and seems to know his way around the law. You could do a lot worse than talk to him if you need a lawyer.
