This reminds me of the time a friend was playing violin at my church’s Music Sunday. My friend is Jewish, and I’m Lutheran, so Jewish contemplative music was quite a shift during the distribution of the Host. Even the Pastor was drawn away in thought. Suddenly, my pastor realized that the next being at the communion rail was a dog. “What do I do? Do I bless it? I guess I bless it.”, he thought. A sublime moment indeed.
