New Breed of the Day: Maia the Phu Quoc Ridgeback
I’m still not dead! Though unpacking my apartment is going veeeeerrrryyy slooooooowly. Still, that’s no excuse for depriving you folks of cute pups, and I ran across a new breed just yesterday: the Phu Quoc, or Vietnamese Ridgeback. I didn’t … Continue reading

Site News: I’m Not Dead
I even sort of have a place to live. But I’m sleeping on a mattress on the floor and the entire place is covered in a quarter inch of dust and the contractors have screwed up the wall paint so … Continue reading

New Year’s Dog: Apollo the Australian Shepherd
Had to pick a dog I ran into today to be my New Year’s Dog, so here’s Apollo, one of the first SF pups I found since I got back from Indiana. He’s four, and quite large for an Aussie, … Continue reading

Triple Dog Christmasday!
It’s a three dog night here in Indiana. No, not cold: it was ten degrees warmer in Northern Indiana today than it was in San Francisco. Go figure. I just got to spend Christmas Day with three awesome dogs (and … Continue reading

Sunday Christmas Eve Switchup: Have An Otterly Merry Christmas
When I was down in Monterey, someone gave me a message to give to you on Christmas Eve.
Dog of the Day: Hugo the Wire-Haired Standard Dachshund Puppy
Don’t see a lot of standard dachshunds around these days, and wire-haired is rarer than either short- or long-haired, too. Plus Hugo is a puppy, just eight months old. He’s a rare breed, and looking sharp.

Dog of the Day: Squid (aka Squiddles!) the English Bulldog Puppy
Squid is a pretty great name, but Squiddles may be in my top ten of all time for a happy five-month-old pup like this one here.
