Dog of the Day: Dude the Maltese Japanese Chin Mix

I think we have a new contender for most ‘oh my god that’s the cutest stuffed animal wait no WAY that’s a real dog??’ of the year. Dude (not ‘The Dude’, just Dude) is 5, but looks and feels (soooo soooooft) like a smiley puppy.

PS: Wow. I can’t believe I’ve never had a Japanese chin or chin mix on this blog before. What’s more, I’ve never even taken a picture of one, as far as I can tell. Weird!

I am told that Dude has a sheepskin rug that he likes to lie on. (And completely disappear.) I am sure that it ties the whole room together. No news on whether it has ever been peed on.

Dog of the Day: Our Old Friend Lucy

Lucy! I periodically run into her wandering about town, and have to be reminded that it has been nearly six years since I first met her! That’s longer than I’ve known most of the humans in my life. I ran into her again today, and I figured, ‘today’s a good Lucy-day!’ So here she is, the seven year old lucky-shar-pei herself.

Dog of the Day: B the St. Bernard

This is B. Not Bea, not Bee, just B. It’s not even short for anything. IT’S JUST B OKAY SHEESH LEAVE HER ALONE! Also she’s 3 years old and is a ‘miniature St. Bernard’. Which means that she is only the size of a very small pony.

As you perhaps have guessed, I ran into Donovan at the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in San Francisco this year. He seemed to be enjoying them, all things considered.
