Dog of the Day: Harper the Unknown Mixed Breed
Unnngh. Still recovering from having my eyeball shaved. Recommendation: do not do this recreationally, because it is not terribly enjoyable. Harper (4) is a real cutie, isn’t she? I am not sure what she is. Her folks think she’s part … Continue reading

Dog of the Day: Happy Hula-Hula Cat-Dog
Lucky dog. I’m not sure if I’d rather play with him or BE him, at this point. Continue reading
Dog of the Day: Rowdy the Catahoula Leopard Dog Australian Shepherd Mix
Rowdy is a 5-year-old hula-hula-cat-dog mix! He is finally starting to slow down at age 5, so he only goes on two hour-long walks a day.

Double Dog Day: Mila the Dutch Shepherd Mix and Rawling the Catahoula Pit Bull Mix
I am assured that even though these two look related, they are actually just foster-siblings: Mila, the one with the white blaze on her face, and the fully convertible ears, is a Dutch shepherd mixed with something else. Meanwhile Rawling, the … Continue reading

Dog of the Day: Cormac the Catahoula Hog Dog
A Catahoula hog dog for you today, or, as we like to say here at the Dogs of San Francisco, a ‘Hula-Hula Cat-Dog’. Cormac is a year and a half old, and is very energetic, as with all Catahoulas. Fortunately … Continue reading
