Never run across anything quite like this before. I’d walked by it dozens, maybe even hundreds of times, but it was rarely if ever turned on. It’s a fountain of sorts, but instead of a stream of water it releases a fine mist. It makes it look kind of like you’re looking through one of San Francisco’s famous fogs, which is kind of nice since there are a lot fewer of those these days than there were 20 years ago. (No, really, it’s an official thing. Thanks, global warming.)
