This is what I looked like last night, and hopefully again quite soon now.

Any news yet on the sleep study? hope you can find something to help! Elaine
Well, no news, but it’s hardly surprising. Sleep studies normally have about a 3 month lead time around here. They normally use one of three sleep labs in San Francisco and South San Francisco for people who live in San Francisco, since the nearest sleep lab they have to SF is San Jose, which is a 45 minute drive and a lot of people in SF don’t have cars. These three sleep labs are typically booked three months in advance, and also take two months just to contact Kaiser to verify that you’re eligible. The San Jose sleep lab is booked through September.
I was just a little more thorough than most people, and checked the other two Kaiser-owned sleep labs within a 2 hour drive, and one of them said, ‘hey, we had a cancellation for tomorrow night!’
So I don’t think my doctor was expecting to hear from me again until October. I’ll have to give him a holler and see what he says.
