Dog of the Day: Australian Shepherd
Had (minor) surgery today. Went well. Feeling crappy, but that’s sort of to be expected. Shouldn’t last long, either.
I didn’t have time to get this pup’s name, since his dad was in a big hurry. I did have time to take fifty-odd pictures, almost none of which came out non-blurry. And one of those few just HAD to be this one:
When I *started* taking this picture, he was sniffing.
Someone was rather nervous about me at first.
I need you to look closely at those eyes. That’s not because of the camera or anything like that. They actually look like that. Click on the picture, look at them even closer. They are AMAZING.

..and the pup thought “my debut on Dogs of SF will be of me doing my business?”
Hope you are feeling better and recuperation is going well.
Ah well, his loss is our goofy gain, I guess!
I’m having some ups and downs. Mostly better, and then, weirdly, things come back in the evenings. I don’t know why, it’s not like what I’m doing during the day could be described as ‘overdoing it’ by any stretch of the imagination.
Still, I’m sure things’ll even out soon enough. They did warn me there’d be a few days of recuperation.
Thanks for thinking of me!
