Dog of the Day: Keeshund

A keeshund, for your viewing pleasure. This one was quite eager to make my acquaintance, but finally let me take a few pictures before demanding to be petted. I guess I can understand, it must get awfully itchy under that much fur.

I would like to try brushing a keeshund. Once.

These were taken at the Dog Festival. You can tell from the expression, right?

Are Keeshunds what Pomeranians were bred from? It looks…. Pom-ish.

Hey, I went to Bi-Rite Creamery on Friday (Brown Sugar with Ginger Caramel, mmmmm) and while walking in Dolores Park, saw a sign for the Whole Enchihuahua happening there on May 1st. I thought I’d let you know. I’ll be somewhere in the greater Lodi area that day, otherwise I’d say “Let’s all go! Cute dogs in Costumes! Ice Cream for All! Hooray!” Ok, I can still say that, but I would actually go with you…

We watched an adorable boxer playing with a very large ball while we were in Dolores Park, btw, and my friends’ 3-legged chihuahua ran uuuuuuuup and doooooooown the steep hills. The children rolled.
