My brother and I were out walking in San Francisco yesterday. It was misting out, everything was a little damp, but that didn’t stop one gentleman from taking his cat out on a nice little walk. Seems oddly appropriate, for a couple of different reasons, in the Castro.
The cat even seemed fairly into it, although I think he’d have been a lot happier if it wasn’t all wet outside.
I like the owner already: he takes his black cat out for walks so that he crosses *everyone's* path.
He was a bit leery of both me and my brother.
He had a lovely meow, and wasn't shy about using it.

I live in the Castro and we occasionally see Jupiter and his person walking around. Actually, we usually hear Jupiter before we see him!
