Dog of the Day: Bumblebee the Baby Cocker Spaniel/Poodle Mix

I ran into Bumblebee the cockapoo (and what an unfortunate breed name that is) when I was having lunch at Google with my friend Tommaso, who is newly employed there. And of course, I had to stop and take pictures of this adorably cute 10-week-old ball of fluff. Sorry Tommaso!

Unfortunately, because we were inside in a dimly lit room, only two of the pictures came out, and one of them is a slightly embarrassing-looking one of the woman who was holding him, so we’re just going to go with the one picture. However, there are more at his mom’s facebook page, so go check it out if you’re in the mood for some cute.

(Hey, why not enter my photography contest?)

Cockapoo Puppy

I mistook him for a SUPER-young golden-doodle. So adorable!

How could I not click on a pooch named Bumblebee? We took care of a cockapoo for two years when I was a kid. Her mom was a student at Stanford and her dog couldn’t live in the dorms with her. Brandi looked just like Bumblebee!!

My brother got a dog! Do you allow San Rafael dogs on your website? πŸ™‚ I’m thinking about the photo contest, too.

Well, it would be pretty mean of me to exclude San Rafael dogs when I went and took a bunch of pictures at Bay to Barkers in Albany and used those, and even used a few from Monterey. Plus I have a couple of pictures in here of dogs that visited San Francisco, at least one all the way from Europe (via quarantine!) So let’s say the site is The Dogs of San Francisco, including the Greater Bay Area, and also including all dogs who have visited or dreamed of visiting San Francisco. πŸ™‚

And the photo contest is even less limited: the pictures have to involve dogs OR San Francisco. First entry I got was a dog picture from the East Coast. (Although he may have dreamed of visiting San Francisco.)
