For some reason, huskies seem to be named after Norse gods a lot more often than any other breed. I’m guessing it’s some combination of the ‘cold weather’ connection and the fact that they simply are that awesome.
I ran into Lou where I’m visiting, in Phoenix. I haven’t run into a lot of Phoenix dogs this time, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far.
I just ran into Ayiana today, and it’s her seventh birthday! And she’s wearing a birthday bandana. How cool is that? She also has an Instagram account, where you can see a picture of her birthday cake.
I ran into Jupiter (5 months old, female) at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmer’s Market. Sshh, don’t tell anybody: dogs aren’t allowed.

A gaggle of huskies, plus one golden retriever. had a little convention. I’ve met all but one of them before, but seeing them all in one place was kind of impressive.
