It’s funny, but these days some of the weirdest things I see in San Francisco are in stores. It’s like the retail is getting stranger as the inhabitants are getting less. This doesn’t strike me as a fair exchange.
Oh god the belly. I spent today making chocolates. And made a really dumb mistake which might make them all turn out poorly. But oh well, ‘poorly’ in chocolate terms is still better than no chocolates at all.

Yorkie mixes, maybe? Scruffy little pups, to be sure. There are more like ’em waiting at Macy’s in San Francisco… come on down and adopt a little bundle of cute!

Some sort of wire-haired terrier-ish mix is my best guess. Super-playful and active, at least when I was there.

Doberman pinschers were the ‘big scare’ dogs before the pit bulls took over. As you can see, this one is determined to do his part to keep that misconception safely buried.
