I am thankful for puppies, and kittens, and all adorable creatures, both furry or not. How about you?
Maybe Charlie (12 weeks, boy) is a boxer… pit, maybe? Not sure. He does look less confused than most boxers do, but he looks no less concerned.
My notes here say that this pup is a six-year-old girl. But not what her name is. Quite an oversight!
Lily is the store cat of a deli on Polk Street. She’s usually not out to greet customers, but sometimes she feels the need to supervise.
Jackie is 5, and she has so damn much fluff that I could hardly find her under there to pet her!

I first ran into Seva seven (OMG has it been that long?) years ago now, when she was “relatively calm as long as strangers stay at least ten feet away from her”, as her mom said.
Well, now she’s ten years old, and still as cute as all git-out, and she loves people!
Otto is a ten-month-old ‘dapple dachshund’, which I gather is the equivalent of ‘merle’ for the wiener-dog set.
Reggie is a four-month-old ‘Havapoo’, which always seemed to me to be a rather cruel name for a very cute dog breed. And for a four-month-old, he’s pretty good-sized, too, big enough that I would have guessed goldendoodle.
I first ran into Arlo (2) a few months ago, but none of the pictures came out, so I’m glad I found him again.
Also I screwed up my back while dogsitting last weekend: put one foot down on a steel plate in the sidewalk, on a steep hill in the rain, and ended up flat on my back, seeing stars. It hasn’t been a very fun few days, although I think I’m over the worst.
