Dog of the Day: Hullo (Hoo-low) the Catahoula Leopard Dog

Our first full-blooded Hula-Hula Cat Dog! Apparently a rescue dog, but well-enough behaved, and loves everybody. I seem to recall that Hullo needs an enormous amount of exercise, though.

Catahoula Hog Dog

This guy would make a fabulous running companion. You could run along next to him and watch his ears flopping up and down out of the corner of your eye. Flop flop flop!

Catahoula Leopard Dog

The classic 'Noble Dog' pose.

Catahoula Leopard Dog

Not just another pretty face!

Every once in a while I still get a little weirded out about living in a city where there are palm trees.

Catahoula Hog Dog

Could have done without the drool, but oh well.

Catahoula Hog Dog

A whole new level to the 'give me your paw' trick.

What a shiny dog, and what a great name!

I see a lot of local dogs with those neat star-shaped tags. They’re strangely hard to find in stores, though…

You see the star-shaped tags because they’re proof of a rabies shot. So, if you want a star get a shot at Marina Pet Hospital. 😉
