Homer (1.5 years old) and his mom were staring into the Macy’s holiday SPCA windows at an adorable playing kitten. I think someone wants a little brother or sister!
Homer would have been content to watch the show for hours. He was completely captivated. Even petting wasn’t as interesting.
I mistyped the title as ‘Pappy the Great Date’. Twice. Think I might be trying to suggest something subconsciously.
I was on my way up an escalator when I saw Pappy on the way down the stairs. Priorities, people! I was back at the bottom in a flash.
I am not feeling well and have now spent 15 minutes trying to get a photo from my phone onto my blog and heck with it I am going to bed.
I met Kila on a MUNI F-line streetcar the other day. He is quite a beast.
You see all sorts of funny things on MUNI, but this is my first iguana.
He has a very expressive face for a lizard, doesn’t he?
He kept his eye on me for several minutes, over dad’s shoulder. I guess I’m a suspicious character.
Autumn’s aunt has a few kitties. This is one of the sillier ones.
Edit: I officially loathe this new WordPress editor. Among other things, it does not appear to support hovertext/tooltips at all. Just… ‘oh hey we don’t need those any more’. I’ll need to see if I can find another way to make them.
I saw this guy yesterday, out in his yard across the street from me while I was busy petting another dog. And then I had to run back to the Lummox because I was in the middle of filling her tanks and didn’t want to hold up the line any more than necessary. (Especially given that 100+ gallons is a lot of ‘necessary’.)
And then, today, I was over by that gas station again and up comes this pup, sans owner, just to say hello. I melted. SO CUTE.
Most dogs that grow up roaming semi-rural areas tend to be somewhat hostile towards strangers. This one gave me instant nose-smooches.
Those ears. And look at that muzzle: so wide. I just can’t quite figure what this pup is mixed with.
This was one of Autumn’s clients, and I got to hold onto her for a while. Unfortunately, I sat on the pictures for too long and now I can’t remember her name.
We’re sitting outside of my garage door. Yes, that brown, ugly thing. Oh well. If it were nice, I wouldn’t be able to afford it. 🙂
Autumn sent me this picture of one of her clients. Looks like a satisfied customer to me!
I am going to smile that wide when I finally make it home. It has been a very, very long trip.

Every dog should have parents doting enough to take him to a vacation to San Francisco, and on a hike up to the top of Telegraph Hill. (Have you taken YOUR dog there? I’m just saying.)
These three were all obviously having roughly the same amount of fun.
