Well, we had a driver dog the other day, so today we have a passenger pup! He doesn’t look quite as sold on his position, does he? (Pretty sure he’s a German shepherd mix.)

I ran into these folks down in San Diego. They clearly had a lot of money, to have such a finely dressed chauffeur.
I don’t know what he is. I don’t even know if he’s a he. I just know that he was cute, and had a very pretty song.
These two aren’t just brother and sister (Earnest being the boy, naturally), they are twins! Both seven years old. Tibetan terriers are pretty awesome dogs: they’re sweet and friendly and very mellow compared to other terriers.
Pabu is on the left, and Wildly Earnest is on the right. I think. That’s why my notes say, but they don’t say WHOSE right and WHOSE left.
I ran into Cider (male, 4 years old) on New Year’s Day. He looks pretty skeptical in the pictures but he was really a nice enough fella.
I ran across this pup on my trip down the coast. He appeared to have rather a nice sailboat, and also seemed quite happy wandering onto and off of it at will.
As I mentioned in my previous Evie post, she and I sat down to watch the Puppy Bowl together. (We both agreed that it was more fun before it got so commercial.) Last time you saw some pictures of her that I took… now you get to see some pictures of her and me that Autumn took.
Lincoln the Lab, the wonderful wonderful Lab! I am posting this the evening before Lincoln’s birthday, since he was born on the 24th of February, three years ago. This is especially neat because it’s the day before my birthday, February 25th. Although I admit I am a bit older than three, or even 21 in dog years.
Also, I am very sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but one of Autumn’s family’s pups has passed away, heartbreakingly young for a golden retriever. Send condolences in the comments, I’ll be sure she gets them.
I stayed last night in Ojai. It was quite pretty, as you can see.
Ran into this trio basking in the warm winter sun off of Point Lobos.
I think the bottom one is laughing at me.
