Daisy’s one of our growing pack of local Old English Sheepdogs. I think her dad was surprised to hear me say that there were several around… but I think she knew Bumper. But then, everybody knows Bumper.

I need a dog to bury my face in right now (long story), and I think she’d be a great candidate.

This is the shop dog of a local nail salon. Every time I go by and peek in, I feel like he’s judging me.
I feel like I’m racially profiling this dog. I’m sure he or she is a wonderful, happy dog, but the eye markings just look… intimidating.
I have had a very long and not terribly pleasant day, and I am going to go to bed early. So have a short but rather cute dog in a short but rather cute post.
I don’t have this pup’s name, but I’m pretty sure there’s some fluffy Chihuahua in there.
Yes, that’s pronounced like the first part of ‘dachshund’. Moby’s 8, and quite small, but mighty in his cuteness.

When you can’t see the length of the body, they really do look kind of like little golden retrievers.
Puppydog eyes alert: cuteness overload.
I ran into Belle (9) when we were both limping, so I felt an immediate sense of kinship.

Somehow I find it sadder to see a dog with a leg cast or wrap than a human. Partly because they don’t know it’ll be gone soon, I guess.
She’s still got the puppydog eyes down pat.
Alexander (4 months old) was one of those few dogs who did not warm to me. Some dogs, the owner says, “Wow, he never usually goes near strangers, you must have a way with animals.” With Alexander it was more like, “Wow, he doesn’t usually hide from people like that.” Which was very disappointing.
Just like a big stuffed animal.

This kitty was very, very focused on her exercise. AKA viciously murdering a perfectly innocent little kitty-toy.
This is at the SPCA. I walked away and came back 25 minutes later. She was still at it.
Not that I’m one to judge. I wish any of my hobbies made me THAT happy.
