First, some site news: don’t be surprised if posting is spotty over the weekend, I am taking a short trip to New Jersey.
Second, have a gorgeous English cream golden retriever. He was standing guard outside of a club when I caught a picture of him.

I just ran into Dunbar for the second time last week, and realized that I was horribly remiss in my duties, since I’d had his picture for a couple months now and hadn’t posted it yet. Dunbar is 3, and despite the fact that he looks like a hound, he’s actually a Lab/doberman mix.
Autumn saw Murphy and said, ‘ooh, that’s one of those red Labs!’ Well, pretty much. Isn’t he pretty? He’s from Minnesota, and he’s 1.5 years old.
So are Labs generally less hyper than goldens? I guess so, since most goldens that age would have been either trying to leap on me or (if they were well-trained) WISHING they could try and leap on me.
Oliver lives right near me! And he is awesome and adorable and three and fluffy, and I hope I run into him again. And the more I look at him, the more I think he might be half keeshond. The cutest half of the keeshond.
I was supposed to go to the Internet Cat Video Festival in Oakland today, and bring you guys some pictures, but it didn’t end up working out that way. So instead, I bring you an adorable kitty prisoner from a couple months ago, since adopted.
Sheba is 11. Help me out here: does anyone else think smooth fox terriers look… I don’t know… weird? I mean, they’re cute, and all the ones I’ve run into have been sweethearts, but for some reason their proportions seem unusual to me.
Someone was keeping an eye on mom’s stuff while she stepped into a store.
In other news: yup. Lots of medical stuff today. Just got home around 8:30 PM. Oh well, at least I don’t have anything else like that planned anytime soon.
I got the name of this pup, and then accidentally deleted it. And I can’t remember if she was a goldendoodle or a labradoodle. But isn’t she gorgeous?
Got some medical tests tomorrow afternoon. Nothing too serious, but it does mean, hah, that I have to fast until 2 PM. No breakfast, no lunch. That’s going to be fun.
Darwin! He’s six months old. He looks a little bit intimidating, but don’t let the scary eye makeup bias you: he’s a sweetheart.
♫ Ruuuuuuupert! He’s king of the loooooong dogs! ♩
