No, the pup’s name is not ‘Possibly’. I just don’t have any notes, but I vaguely remember running into a Chihuahua/rat terrier mix earlier this month, and I think this might be the one.

Macy’s SF is having SPCA windows again this year, finally, after several years of not doing it. Only two enclosures at a time, and very, very limited hours, unfortunately, but I’ve caught it a few times so far. One day, these two, brother and sister, were in different enclosures. I can’t imagine why, they should have been in the same cage so they could play! (Whaddaya think, pit boxer mix?)

I ran into these two this morning on the way to work, and realized that Otto (2 years, in the black) and Liesel (10 months, in the red) were the blog’s first German pinschers. Didn’t want the blog to be German-pinscherless for any longer than necessary, so here they are.
Hard to tell what breed a dog is when they’re wet. Australian shepherd? Some kind of spaniel?
Louie (10 months) was about as bothered by the cone as he was by, well, anything else, really.
I have no idea what this coloration and/or breed is called. Can anyone help me out?
What do you say when you see this 5-month-old pup? “Lou? EEEEEEEE!”
Just guessing on the breed, since I didn’t meet this pup’s folks, just his own fine self.
Don’t see a lot of Cardies around, but Ari (boy, 1) does try to spread the word about them.
