This gal (?) was at the Surf Day. She might be a boxer mix, or a pit mix. She was definitely a licker!

The followup pics I promised. I found Rusty chilling out after his competition. The groomer did a pretty amazing job on him, didn’t she? I mean, the spots absolutely look real.
In case anyone’s curious, Rusty’s mom dropped by in yesterday’s comment section and left a link to the groomer, Gabriel Feitosa, down in SoCal. And she also mentioned Rusty’s Instagram, RustyTheSurfingMinPin, which has some pretty cute pics. (But don’t take my word for it!)
This is the last set of surfers I have for you. I was going to post them earlier but their owner suggested I email her because I wanted to know who had done the absolutely incredible paint-I-mean-grooming job on the little leopard, and she said she’d tell me. But unfortunately she put her email address into my phone wrong, so I guess I’m going to miss out on telling you that. Sorry!
I will, however, have some ‘followup’ pictures of him on the beach, tomorrow. And I did get their names (Rusty is the leopard). They won the ‘dog/dog tandem’ category!
I ran into Sampson while walking from my car to the beach on dog-surfing day. He is one year old and LARG!
I have a cute kitten that I saw a guy walking the other day to show you! But WordPress is being a *mumble* and so it looks like you’ll have to wait until next Caturday to see.
Another set of contenders! Quite a few pictures of them. I quite like the last one.
I ran into Moose about 200 feet from where I ran into yesterday’s pup. They look surprisingly similar, both in coloration and size, though not quite in fluffyness. And they’re both 4 months old, and they will both lick you.
I still have more surf dogs to post, but I’m feeling a little under the weather, and anyway, gotta post a few of the spectators from the surf dog day!
Are you getting tired of these surf dogs yet?
Neither am I!
Here’s a (panoramic) look at the crowd of dog surf aficionados from last weekend. This should give you an idea of how crowded it really was. Not shown: the ocean. It was only a bit less occupied.
