Keanu is just a little husky! He’s also pretty skinny, which is a pretty funny combo.

Betty should have been posted on the 16th, and that is partly my bad and partly my web site BEING bad. I think I have fixed the site now, but we shall see! (The problem was a weird one, and I still have no idea WHY it happened, or why restarting the host didn’t work, or… anything really. But for now, it works.)
Why should Betty have been posted on the 16th? Because she turned 2 on the 16th and we should all wish her a slightly belated happy birthday!

My site has been completely crazy broken for the last few days, and I am having a LOT of trouble fixing it. I need to work on it some more but for right now I’ve disabled almost all the plugins and it seems to have helped. SOON I will get back to my regular posting schedule. SOON!
I ran into Gordie yesterday, when he came up to me and inspected my ankles and found them quite acceptable. According to his mom, he was still a puppy, since he didn’t turn one until today. So let’s all sing Happy Birthday to Gordie the ridiculously adorable!
Also according to Mom, Gordie got a DNA test and was supposedly full-blooded Yorkie. She didn’t think that seemed quite right, and neither do I, but I have no idea what he’d be mixed with, aside from ‘something cute’.
No hovertext and no captions, just adorable attitude today!

Brew is a coffee-colored cutie, isn’t he? He’s a two-year-old full Pomeranian, who was quite contented to hang out in his hideaway while mom took him on an adventure. Max dorbs!

Begley and Connor are two of Autumn’s family dogs, who I got to play with over Christmas again this year. Begley has finally mellowed out (at age twelve!) but Connor is still an absolute nut. And occasionally quite rude to other dogs, too.

A local hotel has some pretty neat fireplace statuary.

A pair of cuties from the Macy’s windows for you! I’m going to have a chat with the folks who plan the windows soon: they really need to plan the displays better, so that pictures taken from the outside don’t suffer such unsightly reflections. I’m convinced we can find a way around it.

I’m a little worn out. Been planning a trip, prepping for it, stressing out about it. I’m going up to British Columbia, up I-5, over the course of three weeks, and then hanging out up there for three weeks, and then going down the Pacific Coast Highway, for two weeks. (Still working, remotely, and posting, remotely, so don’t worry, you’ll still get your dogs!)
Marcel does a lot more work than I do, and he seems to be a lot more energetic than I am. So unfair! Of course, he’s only four months old, so I guess it’s not an entirely fair comparison.

I ran into Teddy in December, and then again yesterday, and I decided to post her right away. Teddy is 5, and friendly and happy. Her mom (the daughter of the woman in the picture) had another Havanese before him, a suuuper smart pupper who trained himself to be a seizure alert dog — before his mom even knew she had seizures! It worked out amazingly well, and after he passed on, they got another Havanese in the hopes that she would be able to do the same thing. Well, Teddy does try, but so far she hasn’t quite gotten the hang of it. Don’t worry, pup, we’re sure you’ll manage it any day now!
