I was briefly baffled by Sage. I was like, ‘Whoa, that’s not a Weimaraner, or a vizsla, or…’ Fortunately mom set me straight: she is a straight Doberman, with dilute coloration.
She is also a cheerful, chipper, happy nine-year-old girl.

I ran into Morty last weekend at a party, and he was very happy to meet me, despite the fact that he was only six weeks old and thus couldn’t run around and play with me and lick my ankles like he wanted to. I discovered that he was being fostered, and was soon to be adoptable, and the note I have says that he was at the ‘Oakland Animal Shelter’, but that doesn’t seem to exist, and I can’t find him on any of the sites (Oakland Animal Control, Oakland SPCA, etc) that I checked. So maybe he’s just not available yet? If you think he looks like a match for you, keep your eyes on the sites, I guess!

I was walking down the sidewalk when what should I see…
(Apparently she does this all the time, encouraged by mom.)

Chessy, also known as Chestnut (3 months) makes friends wherever he goes.

Maya is 2, and it’s funny: I’ve run across a few bluetick coonhounds in the city, and three of them, if I recall correctly, were in the Marina.
