Another Australian cattle dog mix, this time with German shepherd. What an unexpectedly gorgeous combination.

Such distinctive markings. A very pretty mix indeed!
Yeah, that’s a gorgeous pup. I might actually do some photoshop work on her pictures… with a little more contrast and definition, I think at least one or two could easily make it into the first DoSF calendar, and possibly another project I’m considering.
We have this SAME EXACT dog!!! We never knew what kind of breed he was til now 🙂
Our champions name is Max. BEST dog ever. (Other than the one above I’m sure 🙂 )
Well, it’s a damn good combination. And I dunno, I like the dog above, but I suspect I’d like Max better, since the one up above wouldn’t let me pet her at all. 🙂
If you have a facebook, you could add me. Tons of pics of the Mackie Dog 🙂
Eu também tenho um cachorro igual a esse. Me senti exatamente como você, RAchel. O nome do meu também é Max.
Not a shepherd. She is Kelpie mixed with Heeler. I have a Kelpie/Heeler mix as well that looks extremely similar to your dog. Kelpies are awesome dogs and are often mistaken for other breeds. Pretty girl!
Could well be, although I would expect a somewhat smaller dog from that combination. Either way, if your dog looks anything like this one, then he or she is gorgeous!
My dog look identical to Betty! Her name is Bella they had told us when we got her that she was mix with blue heeler and border colley. I knew that was right when she started to get older, she had the stance of a german shepherd and the walk as well! Very smart dog she could sit, shake, lay down and roll over by 4 months!
Oh my goodness! I have a male that looks so much like her! Like the girl above I never knew what mix he was, I rescued him, just knew he was part blue heeler. My Jack is super friendly, tho. Loves everyone and every dog! So glad to find this! Now I know what my baby boy is 🙂
