I first met Boulder back in March of this year, and got a bunch of pictures, which were so fuzzy I couldn’t tell if he was a ridgeback or a poodle. Fortunately, round two came out just fine.
Ran into this fine gentleman outside of a Whole Foods. Rhodesian ridgebacks are rather hefty dogs by nature, and can look a little intimidating, but this one was too obviously begging for affection even to scare a passing 5-year-old.
I’m not sure about Franklin. That black short-ish muzzle says maybe ridgeback boxer mix to me, rather than ridgeback pit mix. Or he almost could be a black-mouth cur, if he weren’t so damn big! Perhaps a mix? But Franklin’s … Continue reading
