I posted a picture of Diggity a little while ago. Well, this pup was tied up next to him (and you can see him in the first picture) but I thought they both deserved their days.

The proportions are a little bit off.
He reminds me of something but I can’t quite think of what.
So: Kayla. Kayla is a ridiculous goofy dog who was 10 months old when these pictures were taken, but was still under the impression that she was a tiny lap-puppy. And long may she remain so!
(Incidentally: I think the site is fully working now, with functional SSL (look at the URL bar! all locked up tight!) and everything. Just some cleanup left to do, for stuff that’s not visible to the audience. It was a lot of work, but on the upside, I understand all this stuff a lot better, and I’m going to be using that info at work very soon now.)
She is apparently content to sit like this for hours.

Sudden attack of the sleepies?
Another day, another two hours spent working on the site. But it’s up and running, and most of it is working. The goal is in sight! I’m feeling good.
If you notice anything wrong with the way the site is working, please let me know. And in the mean time, have a pit bull mix from the SPCA.
According to their web site, this pup has been adopted since this picture was taken. Yay!
In another year or two, this sign will be something I can wholeheartedly support. Once the rest of the red wears off.
If it’s still there at that point, I might go back and go over ‘Please’ and ‘Thanks’ with a red pen, so it says ‘Please Dogs Thanks’.
Three dogs have died this season already, just from drinking the water. It’s due to a poisonous algal bloom. These typically happen in the summer, but it turns out it’s been a very warm winter.
I’ve been saving this one. Consider it a celebration for my semi-successful site move.
I feel like this kitten must have taken a correspondence course in photogenic studies.
See? Talk about stealing the show.

Edit: Yay move is complete except for the whole ‘can’t click on any posts ha ha ha’ part. I am working on this and will get it fixed as soon as I can.
Edit 2: Okay. Fixed. Boy that was annoying.
So, I moved the blog over to my new hosting. Some of you may have noticed by the fact that it now loads quickly instead of ridiculously slowly.
Only one thing went wrong: my site got kind of messed up in the process, and I had to go back to the backup. Which SHOULD have been 100% current, since I make one at 1 AM every day and my last post was well before that. But for some reason my last post, the ridiculously adorable Pomeranian/husky mix, disappeared.
I’ll try to fetch it from the mangled old site, or maybe just recreate it, but in the mean time, if you saw it, you’re among the lucky few.
Anyway, posting will be back on track tomorrow.
I’m a little down today, and need a pick-me-up. And I’d love to pick these two up, so that seems quite appropriate to me.

The tag says ‘I love you so much.’ Well, after all, this IS a golden retriever.
That’s an unusual expression for a golden.

I needed that little smile, after calling and emailing quite a few dog shelters today.

Even a foster home would be wonderful. She’s such a sweetheart, I can’t imagine how anyone came to the conclusion that she was unadoptable. No aggression, and she takes around 30 seconds to warm up to people. Literally. I have the feeling that her nervousness may be because she was in a puppy mill for a while, and the Animal Care & Control facility reminds her of that, but even still, having met her, I can’t imagine any sensible person coming to such a conclusion.
