I went to the San Francisco Cat Show a month and a bit ago, and took some pictures with my spiffy camera. I just went looking through them, to find a black cat for BLACK CATURDAY, and discovered that there were not, in fact, any.black cats. Or, at least, none that I managed to get any shots of. Disgraceful!
Oh well. This one’s pretty, don’t you think? He’s inside a cage with a clear plastic front, which explains the soft focus.
I went through my back catalog today, so I could post ‘BLACK LAB FRIDAY’, and I discovered two things: one, I have a LOT of unposted pictures of dogs, and two, I do not have a single picture of a Labrador retriever that I haven’t posted. Crazy!
So instead, have a couple of cute Shibas. I remember where I saw them, but I don’t have any notes. Oh well!
Despite their reputation, I don’t think I’ve met a standoffish Shiba in quite a while. They were both friendly, I just had to wait until the black and tan one finished investigating something more interesting than me.Never did manage to get the two of them looking in the same direction at the same time.
Kelly looks like an older version of yesterday’s pup, doesn’t she? According to a not-necessarily-reliable DNA test, she is a boxer shih tzu bulldog mix. I dunno about that…
I am thankful for puppies, and kittens, and all adorable creatures, both furry or not. How about you?
Moon is a 15-week-old goldendoodle (who looks like a golden retriever!)
Moon is a service dog in training!
Moon has adorable shoes! They are because some days the pavement gets awfully hot and his toes are very sensitive.
He has an instagram account. It says that it is ‘golden.moon or’. Or what, I’m not sure, but it’s not golden.moon, because that’s something else. Nor is it golden_moon, golden.moon.or, golden_moon_or, or… or or or. I can’t find it! So sad.
Too many cute pictures to caption or hovertext, so just enjoy, okay?
I first ran into Seva seven (OMG has it been that long?) years ago now, when she was “relatively calm as long as strangers stay at least ten feet away from her”, as her mom said.
Well, now she’s ten years old, and still as cute as all git-out, and she loves people!
I love a tale with a happy ending. (Or an ending with a happy tail!)
