My god… it was Caturday yesterday, and I had such a crazy week that I didn’t even notice!
Well, here’s a nice, relaxing Sunday seascape.
I walked up to these two and said, “Wow, your dog is gorgeous!” And the woman said, “She’s not my dog. Although I have a new best friend!” I can tell she and I would get along great.
And the human is probably pretty neat as well. 🙂

They were hanging out outside The Cliff House Restaurant, passing time while they waited for (presumably) different things.
I know nobody from Ireland says ‘top o’ the morning’, but then again, it’s not the morning, either. (Well, I guess it’s morning in Ireland, but…)
Blaise is 8, and gorgeous, and I don’t know why we don’t see more Irish setters like her around. They are magnificent dogs, which you almost can’t talk about without using the words ‘mane’ and ‘fetlock’.
Penny is 8, though you’d never know it to look at her. She still keeps up with the younger dogs, too, which is great considering that bulldogs tend not to age well. I think it’s because she’s petite, and always wears her rubber booties out in bad weather so she doesn’t get sick. And also in good weather so she looks adorable.
The AT&T guy got here today. He told me everything was fine on his end and that the problem must be inside the house. And when I got back upstairs my internet was magically working again.
WHAT. EVER.
All I have to do is look at Nibbler (3 months old in these pictures) and all my annoyance at AT&T for showing up twice on the wrong days and then not at all on the right day just melts right away.
Almost all. Almost.
(And yes, that means my internet is still down.)
My god! At 5 months old, Auggie’s ginormous! I thought he was a big standard dachshund until I noticed his ears, which are just unreal.
For all you Twitterers out there who have stumbled across my blog via the list of dogs in baby carriages, welcome. Hope you like it here and decide to stay a while.
(Sigh. My internet is STILL out. I have a solution for now, though.)
My home internet connection has been down for the last two days. This severely hampers my ability to post.
In the mean time, have a dog from my phone.
Edit:Â It appears the new editor for the WordPress iOS app is not ready for prime time. Fixed.
Someone was sitting in the doorway of a local business, collecting the cat tax.
On the same day I ran into Stella — July 4th! — I also ran into this cute little cotton ball. Einstein is a boy, and was very much into checking out the sights, sounds, and smells along the California coast.
I ran into Kai (13!) while I was walking another dog. The two didn’t really hit it off (no snarling or anything, just mostly indifferent) so I didn’t get terribly many pictures, but a couple came out okay, and his dad sent me a couple more, one of which I’m using (it’s the last picture of the set.)
Edit: And wow, that was all one sentence. I should read what I write more often. 😛
