Sorry I’ve been remiss over this past week. I still have that cold. Haven’t been this hard by one in literally years, and I’ve spent most of my time trying (and failing) to sleep.
Maybe feeling a little better now, so have a little Lab love.
This dog would NOT look at the camera. I have thirty great profile shots and zero full-face, or even three-quarters.
Autumn is sitting for a dog-and-cat duo. Artemis is the dog. (I kid, Artemis, don’t claw me!)
As for me, I am miserable. Sinus headaches and sniffles and cough-y oh my.

Another pup from the little mini corgi get-together, and another one who is a member of the CorgiCon executive team! She also has an instagram account, you guys.
Someone at that get-together was talking to me about having gotten a girl corgi because he thought she’d be calmer and easier to handle. DANGER! In the corgi world, the boys are much calmer and less aggressive than the girls!
I don’t usually post stuff here that is emailed to me unsolicited. However, I’m a big fan of NPR and PBS, especially our local stations, so when they dropped me a note telling me about their latest ‘Deep Look’ video and print combo story, “How Your Dog’s Nose Knows So Much,” I figured you folks would probably be interested.

I got to say hi to my ex-charge again. The response was underwhelming.
Not a lot of these pups around, and I ran into Mr. Joyce just a block from my apartment. SO SCRUFFY!
He has an instagram and a friend named Emily Bronte (who also has an instagram page) but none of my pictures of Ms. Bronte came out.

He’s 2 years old. But he looks 60.
We have another cocker spaniel poodle mix pup here, only Teddy is 5 months old. And So. Damn. Cute.

There was a little corgi meetup a couple of weeks ago at a tea shop a few blocks away from me. It was a very little tea shop. And it was raining outside, and there were too many corgis for the shop. Fortunately, the corgis didn’t mind.
I believe Malibu there is one of the royalty of CorgiCon!
Frequent commenter and friend of the blog Rose Marie sent me some pictures of her gorgeous kitty Isabelle Airel, who passed away last year. I told her I’d post a little bit of a memorial.
