I know, I know, it’s hard to believe anything this adorable exists in the real world. Let me assure you that it does. Or, at least, as real as San Francisco gets.

It’s been a very long day. (Work is being very needy right now, plus I’m taking a class, plus it’s laundry day, plus did I mention work?) But I found the perfect dog for my mood, so here you go.

When I was down in San Diego, I got to watch a Navy submarine go floating out to sea.
I just ran into Flippy today, and guess what: it’s his eighth birthday! So everyone say happy birthday to Flippy for me, will you?
Ran into him with a bag full of yummy things. Amazingly, he didn’t even try for them.
Flippy really wanted to play with that Lab, poor pup.
God I love that expression.

I just discovered that an entire data card full of pictures from my February vacation went un-uploaded until now. This guy was on it.

This is actually a baby stroller… the child was taking a walk, and the pup was taking a rest.
The first corgi from last weekend’s CorgiCon! Goretex is an amazingly adorable 16-year-old girl!
Someone was nearly as happy to be at CorgiCon as I was, and that’s saying something.
I admit, I’m not 100% certain about the breed here: could also be a Pekingese with unusual coloration, or a mix. The ears don’t look quite right, although that could just be because they’ve been ruthlessly trimmed. But I’m going to assume that she’s a Japanese chin, because that makes her my first Japanese chin ever!
I’ve seen her a number of times, chilling in the window of Salon Village, but I don’t think I ever managed a good picture before.
Does anyone else see an owl? Anyone? No? Just me?

This kitty actually likes wandering around on a leash! And I like his little black nosie.
He really likes strangers, too.
