Riley (6 months old) does NOT care about shame, or cones for that matter. Riley cares about treats, people, and dogs, and treats. And did I mention treats?

UNNNNGGGHH. The site was down for OVER TWO DAYS. And of that time, I was working on trying to fix it for about … 35 hours. I wasn’t even on any strong pain killers!
All of this just to upgrade from Mac OS X 10.10 to macOS 10.13. Apple RAIDs and incompatible server versions and disallowed kexts, oh my.
The good news is, we appear to be back up and running, and won’t have to go through anything like this again for a while. After all, the last time was in 2012.
Welp. That upgrade attempt didn’t go well. Going to have to try again tomorrow.

Some site news: I am taking advantage of some recovery-from-surgery time to upgrade the DoSF server. While high on codeine. Therefore, there’s a fair chance that the site might be down some or all of tomorrow.

Two previously adoptable puppies from the SPCA! They were there when I visited a couple weeks ago, but they’re gone now, happily adopted.
Boy, I have been a total Hallo-weenie this week! Missed two days in a row. One was because I didn’t get home from a Halloween party until after midnight and then it took me nearly an hour to get the makeup off of my face so I could go to bed. But last night, no excuses. I’m a bad boy.
Unlike Dottie the doggie here. She’s 4 months old and a very, very good girl.
