Dog of the Day: Pembroke Welsh Corgi from CorgiCon

When you’re walking around CorgiCon, every dog you see is the cutest dog you’ve seen all day. Every one of them has something that makes them hilariously adorable. This one had the ridiculous flopped ear.

Dog of the Day: Corgi-Con-Goer

The first CorgiCon attendee picture I’m posting. There will be more, I promise.

Sorry it took so long, and sorry for the long silence, but it has been a completely insane week. I have so many irons in the fire right now that I can hardly keep them straight: some charity work, some donations to a couple of groups that I’m trying to arrange (amazingly, none of them pet-related). Classes every day. Work.

And then there was the dog-sitting thing with a dog who turned out to be a bit more of a handful than I thought, and some health (mostly sleep) issues rearing their ugly heads again, and now I have another dog to take care of for a while. (Although this one is about as mellow as you can get without drugs, so I think she’ll be more of a help than a hindrance.)

Ugh. Sorry to whine. I am actually quite looking forward to not having to get up at 6:45 AM every morning, but at least the part where I was getting up at 6 AM is over.

Right. Your corgi. You get a corgi, because I got almost 700, and I feel like it’s only fair.

Dog of the Day: Husky Mix

I know I’ve seen this pup before, and I’m pretty sure he’s a husky mix, but I can’t place him at all.

Ungh, sorry, I missed a day again, but I have been shanghaied into dogsitting in the Marina for a sweetheart of a dog with absolutely no warning — the gig started yesterday evening and I got informed yesterday at around noon. That, plus the 8 AM class I’m taking (which with the dogsitting has me getting up at 6 AM), plus a couple other things, plus actual work… man. I’m wiped out.

But still. I have half an hour before I have to go to sleep, so you get a pup.

Dog of the Day: Macaroni the Chi-Weenie Puppy

I just ran into Macaroni (3 months old) a few hours ago, on her first full day in the city, after being adopted yesterday! She lives right around the corner from me, and I hope I’ll be seeing more of her because she’s adorable.

Dog Pack Day: All The Greyhounds

Dog of the Day: Cabby the Newfie

Cabby is short for Cabernet, Newfie is short for Newfoundland Dog, and this pup isn’t short for anything at all, being quite tall. She’s also of drinking age, for a Newfie at least (in her case eleven and a half), and I found her in her favorite watering hole, a charming spot simply known as ‘The Bar’.
