Don’t see a lot of wire-haired ones around. Mattie (5, a girl) is a rarity!

Autumn brought an old friend of the blog with her down to a music-teaching gig she had in the wilds near Santa Cruz, and I was down there with them and caught a ton of pictures. And not aa single one came out looking the slightest bit normal. This one is kind of neat, though.
Coopah! Cooper (2) is a sheep-a-doodle. Unlike another dog who I will be posting soon, who looks WAY more like an Old English sheepdog than Cooper does, but who has no sheepdog in her at all. Funny, that!
I asked if Macy (4 years old) was a Macy’s San Francisco Christmas Window Puppy, but it turns out mom just liked the name.
A local optometrist has had a couple of different shop cats since I started the blog. Both quite friendly.
The mind boggles a bit at the mix, but we’ve got pretty much all of North America from Alaska to Mexico represented here, so I guess it’s a good July 4th pup. And Lou is 3, and thus, like the United States, old enough to know better and not old enough to pay much attention.
