Dog of the Day: Aria the Pomeranian Husky Mix

Aria is six, and eager to show off her floof! (Aria is such a great name for a dog, especially one that likes to sing, as most husky mixes tend to.)

Adorable Fluffy Pomsky — It was warm in the sun, at least for fuzzy critters like this one, so I gave mom some water from my water bottle for Aria. Yay!

Caturday Supplement: Oliver (And Friend!)

I was out for a walk last Tuesday, trying to get the last few bits of exercise to ‘close my rings’ for the day, and I ran across a man and a woman walking their cat and dog, Oliver and Scooby. Shortly thereafter, I found the wild parrots that nest in the area. Pretty good for a half mile walk!

Chocolate Labrador Retriever — This, as if I had to clarify, is Scooby. Scooby is Oliver’s bestie.

Cat Sprawled Casually In A Baby Carriage — And Oliver. Oliver loves his walks, especially when there are parrots to watch. And people to scratch behind his ears.

Dog of the Day: Nugget the Golden Retriever

Hey look, it’s a (5-year-old) gold Nugget! According to mom, Nugget’s tail was dyed last year just before they went to a giant golden retriever meetup with hundreds of dogs, so that they wouldn’t lose track of her, and after that it just sort of became her ‘thing’. Hey, if humans can dye their hair green, I fully support Nugget’s pink tail!

Boomer is a fifteen-year-old female Rhodesian ridgeback. That’s pretty amazing, given how big Rhodesians are.

Old Rhodesian Ridgeback — She doesn’t sit and get up all that well, but she can still get around, even on the hills of San Francisco.

Dog of the Day: Jemma the Miniature Dachshund

Jemma is four. She’s been having some back problems lately, and recently had IVDD surgery, and I am happy to report that she is recovering nicely, and seems quite happy with the results. And with more or less everything else.
