Lila and his mom were checking out Grace Cathedral when I went by a few days ago. Lila is 15 years old, and gets around okay, except on really long walks, which this was.

Today, Summer is a dog! She turns one year old today, and she is going to get a birthday cake to celebrate. Which is awesome. All dogs should get birthday cakes.
A while back, I was poking through the San Francisco Patagonia Store, shopping for a nice packable jacket. San Francisco rarely requires a down jacket, especially for someone with broad temperature tolerances, but sometimes it gets cold, and it can happen pretty quick, so I always try to keep something with me just in case. It’s more often useful for people I am hanging out with than it is for me, but I like being helpful and prepared.
Someone else was shopping for a jacket too, or so I surmise. Sunny (1) was there, looking around quite interestedly.
I ran into Finn (then 4 months old) a month ago. He is so utterly ridiculous that I had trouble picking pictures. And so I have finally decided that there is only one thing to do: post all of them. No captions or hovertext, just adorable fluff.
Oh, by the way, did I mention his hilarious, adorable instagram? Because you need to see it.
I saw Oscar (9) from a block away, and hurried over to ask, “Oh man, what breed is he? He looks like an explosion in an Airedale factory!” And it turns out he pretty much is.
