I thought I’d posted some pictures of Kona (8 months, boy) before — I know I’ve taken some! — but it seems not. However, there has been a Berner named Kona before… in fact, he was the Dog of the New Year in 2015! Those are some big shoes to fill, pupper… but I think you and your champion side-eye game are up to it.
Sorry, I didn’t get the name of the other pup. But this is in one of my favorite parks for photo-hunting, I’m sure I’ll run across him again soon.
Freya will be one year old in August, and she has had a ruff life! She wasn’t treated very well when she was younger, and consequently she’s very timid and very easily overstimulated. Mom adopted her later on and is working with her to get her used to the world. It’s taking some time, but mom’s good at this stuff: if I recall correctly she works with animals for a living. So Freya is in good hands.
Mom got a genetic test done. I’m not 100% sure I buy it — where did the merle come from? and the build is awfully light! — but who knows?Freya apparently still thinks she’s ten pounds. She’s closer to sixty. This results in some silliness.
Two truths and a lie: Linc is four years old, not a puppy. Linc has puppy-soft fur, so soft you just want to bury your face in it. Linc is a purebred fluffmuppet.
I ran into Monny (4 months) on Saturday, when it was damp and dreary and dim outside. Consequently, all of the super puppy action shots I got are too blurry to post. Happily, this one came out okay.
Monny is named after an Irish pub in the Marina, Monaghan’s. Perfect for a ginger!
And just in case you weren’t sure, that’s fifteen HUMAN years, and Daisy is still going strong, taking long walks and even doing a little dancing on the side.
Daisy CAN look serious. This is her more usual expression. She still gets excited to meet people and jumps about hard enough to turn her ears inside out. At fourteen!
