I was at work today and went out to pick up my lunch. It wasn’t ready yet, so I did a quick walk around Union Square and stuck my head into the Williams-Sonoma, where I ran into Boo and her boyfriend Simba, and discovered that today was Boo’s birthday! She’s two, so everyone say happy birthday!
I had two dozen pictures. How did THIS one end up non-blurry and all the rest of them end up blurry?
I ran across this pup in the beginning of November. His dad said that he was so freshly adopted that he hadn’t even been named yet (and was, at the time, almost four months old). He’s a full-sized dachshund, not a mini, and wire-haired and scruffy and fearless.
(Having some weird troubles with my site all of a sudden. For some reason, everything works great in Safari except whenever I try to create a new post, it just hangs forever. If I do it in Firefox or Chrome it works fine. Just utterly baffled. Anyone out there have any clues?)
I have never met a dachshund named ‘Noodle’ yet, and I really think it would make such a perfect dachshund name.
When I was heading into work a few weeks ago, I discovered that they were assembling the Union Square Christmas tree. IMO it has the tree lighting ceremony beat all hollow.
I was really worried: I’d heard Macy’s was going to shut down next year. But apparently they’ve cancelled it, so yay! There will be more Macy’s window puppies and kittens for the foreseeable future!
The day after Black Friday is, of course, BLACK CATURDAY! I am afraid I don’t have any black cats for you today, but what I do have is the first Macy’s Window Kittens of the year!
I came by at 1 and then again at 2:30 and they were asleep. Apparently they went completely nuts from 12 to 12:30 and had to recharge. Me too, kittens, me too!
Happy Thanksbirthdogigivings to you too! Sachi is five years old TODAY, and I for one am thankful for the smooches I got from him yesterday.
I decided to take a roundabout way in to work yesterday morning and I lucked out because there was Sachi! It took a fair amount of work to get Sachi seated. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
