Ginger, at the time this was taken, was 6. The collar was nothing too serious… she had an abscess that was being treated, and they didn’t want her licking it. She didn’t seem to mind.

PSA: Do Not Let Your Dog Near Lake Chabot

Three dogs have died this season already, just from drinking the water. It’s due to a poisonous algal bloom. These typically happen in the summer, but it turns out it’s been a very warm winter. Source.
