I didn’t get this guy’s name but I’m pretty sure he’s a Dogue de Bordeaux, otherwise known as a French massive… er… mastiff. Edit: as pointed out below, he could also be a bullmastiff.
The one in the blue collar is Harvey (1 year old), and the one who is completely crazy-goofy-dorable is Maggie, who is 3. Sometimes expectations are confounded.

A Dogue de Bordeaux! He’s a perfect pet to take to those wine-tasting parties. Incidentally, this is the third ‘Romeo’ we’ve seen. The second one was quite a bit different!
I think of all mastiffs as English, because in every mastiff’s face I see the stereotypical old (and somewhat dyspeptic) Englishman. But here we have our first French mastiff: Sherman. (Four pictures moved below the break.)
