I went by the same spot I did last week, and the puppies were awake!

I dunno, I thought it was funny. Maybe it’s the 8-year-old in me.
I wandered into the Great Mall last Thursday while I was waiting for my car to recharge. There is, I am delighted to report, a CAT CAFE! Well, not exactly. No food allowed. But close enough! Fifteen dollars for half an hour of kitten-play. I didn’t have half an hour… this time. So I just took a few pictures.
I saw Dexter and wandered over to say hello, and despite the fact that neither he nor I have run across him since ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO, she recognized me, and after she reminded me, I even remembered taking some pictures of him, in a Starbucks down town. He was a Macy’s window pup in 2010, so he is very nearly as old as our dear blog.
Archie (1) is a good name for today, because I was just recently thinking about “archy and mehitabel” (the only cockroach-and-cat double act that I know of, at least from the early 20th century, and well worth the read of not just that poem but the rest of their oeuvre as well).
Archie is not a cockroach. He is a floofy sheepadoodle.
Gus! My notes say ‘Gus 1 Bernadeedle 7’. I’m not sure what this means. It can’t be a score, because Gus is clearly a winner.
A relatively recent addition to the San Francisco skyline, the Transbay Tower has some pretty funny effects on Karl, our resident fog.
