A gaggle of huskies, plus one golden retriever. had a little convention. I’ve met all but one of them before, but seeing them all in one place was kind of impressive.
Of course, it’s even more impressive when you’re surrounded by them. Preferably on your knees and collecting smooches.

I got Autumn’s kitties something for Christmas: a very thoroughly de-lactose-ated milk that is especially for cats. It’s not something they’re supposed to have every day, but it’s fine for them occasionally.
Apparently it was a hit.
Chloe (front, 5) and Ruby (back, 3) are half-sisters: they have the same dad. But Chloe is from Barcelona and Ruby is from Budapest. Apparently their human father went to great lengths to find Chloe a sister.
They have a lot of fun together.
They’re apparently an attention magnet wherever they go.
I asked if they could ride the skateboards themselves. The response was ‘Legs too short.’
It was Indy’s first day in the city, and he was only 5 months old in the first place, so I don’t blame him for being a little skittish and staying away from me. Maybe I’ll get luckier next time I see him.
Like I said, Indy was a little skittish around me. This resulted in a certain amount of difficulty.
He certainly wasn’t shy with his dad.
He only even looked in my direction a few times.
This pup is an airbnb dog… and is absolutely enormous, for a Sheltie.
He likes cuddling. I got to bury my face in that fluff.
I used to know someone with mutton chops like that.
Monroe is an adorable little Maltie-poo puppy (6 months old). She is apparently always happy and mellow on public transit.
She turned those puppydog eyes on everyone within about six seats. With fair success.

I saw this in Bloomingdales, in downtown San Francisco. Yes, it’s just a giant ad, but it’s a pretty damn cute one.
Zorro is a three-year-old vegan dog. Unlike cats, a lot of dogs don’t seem to have much trouble adapting to a vegan diet. But I’m still not sure what I think about it.
Zorro didn’t look terribly happy, but I think that was just due to the large number of people around, not the lack of meat.
