You’ll readily see why Waffles and Bella were 2C2C (Too Cute To Caption) when you see the sheer number of pictures of the two of them I’m posting.
I’ve been hanging onto these pictures since last November. Waffles was, at the time, 6 months old. I do not have age information on Bella. Instead I have the cryptic note ‘Bella Middlebury mix Maltese mix’. Which might mean she’s from Middlebury, Indiana, or that I misspelled Maltese the first time.
A cocker to go with our springer. I ran into Daisy (10 months old) last year, and she did a little dance for me.
I have no idea what the harness difficulties were about.
Whatever it was, though, it took a while to resolve.

Another in my continuing series of ‘too cute to caption’: Remy was 5 months old when these pictures were taken, and one of the cuter dogs that I have ever had the pleasure of giggling uncontrollably at.
I saw Sasser this evening, and I just had to post her. She’s just three months old. I forgot to ask what breed she was, but I think she’s a springer. She could be a cocker, though. I can say with absolute certainty that she is SO. ADORABLE.
She was pretty calm…
…until I got near her and got her all worked up….
…at which point she got rather wiggly rather quickly.
It’s funny, but these days some of the weirdest things I see in San Francisco are in stores. It’s like the retail is getting stranger as the inhabitants are getting less. This doesn’t strike me as a fair exchange.
I am not honestly sure what part is for sale.
It are my birthday! (+2 points if you get the reference.) And for my birthday I went to KitTea for their occasional Caturday Morning Cartoons, which happened this time to fall on my birthday. And I took some pictures of some cute cats. This one liked to ride people’s shoulders.
I got climbed on exactly like this, by this same cat. But Autumn has all the pictures of that.
Did I mention I was wearing my cat onesie pajamas? Because I was wearing my cat onesie pajamas.
Another ‘too much cute to caption’ pup, Oliver won my heart and also most of my other internal organs, but was kind enough to let me retain them on condition that I would finally get around to posting him before he turned 1. In these pictures he’s 8 months old, and full of energy, as the gif will make pretty clear.
Patrick is a standard poodle, and was 11 months old in this picture. And I will tell you what, he was very excited to be right where he was when I took this picture.
The smells coming from that place were definitely of interest to Patrick.
Sometimes I have this problem: I have so many cute pictures of a dog that I can’t face the rather large task of editing them, coming up with captions, coming up with hovertext, and posting them all. And so some of the most ridiculously adorable dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting have gotten shortchanged because I am a bad person.
Well, no more. From now on, sometimes I’m going to post just the pictures, because I want to share them but don’t really have the time for the captions or hovertext. I hope you all will excuse me, especially when you see how adorable Pippa (8 weeks old, goldendoodle) is.
I dogsat a bit over the weekend and today for this fine specimen. Dakota is a one-eyed, flop-tongued, cuddling blue people-licker. She also enjoys being petted, going for walks, not barking at anything ever, and cuddling up under blankets.
She gets quite upset if she can’t lie next to you, so while I was working I set her dog bed right next to me and she lay down happily and went to sleep under some blankets.
