I am having some serious computer issues. Like my laptop’s hard drive has gone south in a big way.
The good news: I have a very current backup. (Like, I don’t think I’m missing a single file.) The bad news: I still don’t have a damn hard drive to replace it with, at least at the moment.
Hopefully be back up and running soon.

I have secondhand information that says that the pup on the right is a mastiff/pit bull mix, but if so, he sure doesn’t show much mastiff.
That’s okay, though. The other guy shows plenty of mastiff for the both of them.
People in San Francisco know who is dangerous and who isn't. Just about everyone who walked by stopped to pet these two.

Just a guess, but with the short legs, saddle markings, and insatiable appetite, I think I have a pretty good chance at being right.

This guy’s a little bit on the mischievous side. The container marked ‘good dog’ is full of dog biscuits. But in theory, it’s the human that’s supposed to decide whether the doggie’s been good, and give him a treat if he has. In this case, the pup decided to short-circuit the whole process and snaffle the entire bowl of treats. (Well, try to, anyway. Dad was a bit too alert to let him do that.)

A goofy golden with a twisty tail! Supposedly this pup is all golden, but I’ve never seen one with a tail that curly before.
Now that's a distinctive collar. And I am assured that this pup has the personality to match.
This old gentleman was out for his afternoon walk when I caught up with him. And, while he was clearly slowing down in his old age, he made it clear that an old dog could still teach me a new trick or two.
He had a hind leg taped up for safety, but he wasn't limping. The canine version of a precautionary Ace bandage, no doubt.

Some of the dogs were a little shy or overwhelmed by the large number of people and/or dogs. Not this one, though.
It was obvious that she found every single person around her to be just another potential source of skritches.
Shelties have some of the sweetest faces, especially when they're happy.
